Even though New York and its sights are world reknown, it has never urged me to go there. I´ve lived in California for 6 months and what can I say? I left my heart in California! Since then I´ve been back to the west coast a bunch of times, but never checked out the east coast.
I recently got a blending machine, since then I´ve been trying out different smoothies like crazy. It is not as easy as I first thought to create not only a healthy but especially a tasty smoothie! Just randomly throwing in fruits and veggies did not work out so well when it came to taste. Do you know what I am talking about?

After a few days spending time in Regensburg exploring the little city, I decided to visit the bigger city Munich before going back home to Vienna. You can reach Munich from Regensburg by train in about 1,5 -2 hours. Once I arrived I had 2 hours to explore Munich before Westbus would take me back home to Vienna.
In case you are planning on going to Germany in the near future, make sure to check off Regensburg on your travel bucket list! Being the capital of the administrative region Upper Palatinate, the small city lies in the heart of Bavaria. It is not only worth a visit for its medieval Old Town, which has been accredited a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But besides these obvious tourist spots, Regensburg has to offer a lot of exciting events and insider activities all year round. It does not matter what time of year you go there, Regensburg definitely never gets boring!

Here are 5 reasons why you should visit Regensburg, why it is an awesome city and why you will fall in love with Regensburg just like I did! 🙂
